Under Anita Ivic’s stewardship, you will achieve immediate physical results that will have you looking and feeling your best.

From a young age, a passion for fitness and wellness was deeply rooted within Anita Ivic’s being. She was raised in an athletic health-conscious family, a twin brother, an older sister and brother, a dedicated father and a “very influential and athletic mother” who fuelled her passion for movement, health and wellness.

Ivic says that there were never any limitations to what she could achieve personally or professionally. At the age of 11, at a time when Ivic was formally training to become a ballet dancer, she was involved in a car accident, so she began practicing Pilates to aid in her rehabilitation. Later, she received her BFA in Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University, and her fascination with how the body works through movement grew.

Little did she know that these series of events would lead to her to become one of the most sought-after Pilates instructors in Toronto. They would subsequently lead her in 2008 to create Imprint Pilates, which offers clients private one-on-one Pilates training, with a commitment to personalized training that extends beyond the studio.

Every session is tailored to meet the specific needs, goals and fitness levels of the individual, ensuring that each client receives a workout plan that is both effective and sustainable. Ivic takes it one step further by delivering a holistic approach to wellness, integrating aspects of nutrition, mental health and lifestyle into the training.

“Many clients feel motivated and excited about continuing their pilates journey, eager to see continued progress and incorporate the principles they’ve learned into their daily routines,” says Ivic. “What I love the most about my work is witnessing the transformation in my clients. Seeing their progress, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally, is incredibly rewarding.”

The studio itself is fully equipped with the latest pilates apparatus, offering a clean, comfortable and motivating environment that elevates the training experience and also allows Ivic to adapt to the ever-evolving craft and stay up to date with the latest techniques so that her clients get the highest-quality instruction with every session.

Over the years, Imprint Pilates has attracted and trained a diverse clientele ranging from Olympians and other athletes including decorated Canadian Olympian Penny Oleksiak, Alysha Newman, Bianca Andreescu, Kylie Masse, Marissa Papaconstantinou, and some of Toronto’s very own Raptors and 905, Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and TFC players to Steve Nash, as well as Sasha Exeter and popular television and film personalities, actors, and residents of the GTA & Toronto’s King West Village, the Financial, Entertainment, and Fashion districts.

While Imprint Pilates continues to serve as a beacon for fitness lovers, its long-term goal has not changed, which is for the studio to continue to grow in a way that prioritizes the well-being and satisfaction of clients and fosters a fitness community of support.

But this will prove to be no challenge for Ivic, for her beautiful children serve as her daily source of inspiration and they remind her to lead by example with positivity, integrity and dedication.
